We finally made it over to Marcel and Phaedra’s house for a visit. We’ve been here 2 weeks and just hadn’t made time. It felt good to relax with the kids and to know we only had a 5 mile drive home after dinner. Zander is becoming more rambunctious as he gets older and his verbal skills are growing daily. Phaedra has been working hard on the house, giving the living room, kitchen and bath fresh coats of paint. They also created a play space in the basement for Zander where he can “get a bit more rowdy”.
I miss KC, but It feels good to be up here closer to Marcel and his family, and I only hope he doesn’t ever feel that we are “too close”. Watching Zander grow will be a real treat.
