Several people in my life have asked if I do anything besides birding and photography. It does seem to be a new passion and I am getting great pleasure spending time with a hobby that both Tina and I enjoy. I still ride bikes a bit but not with the mileage that I rode in KC with the PVYC. I commute 24 miles round trip to my ‘other’ job in Blaine, working part time for Penn Cycle.
Much of my time, when I’m not birding, is spent creating and maintaining websites for various small companies. And yes I spend time with my 2 grandkids. Izzy is 2 months old and taking in life around her more each day. We try to get together with Marcel and his family each weekend for dinner and walks. Watching the kids (all 4) grow is great fun. At 4 years old, Zander is becoming quite the explorer… exploring both the world he lives in and the social interactions with those around him. He has become my Super Hero and is always there if I need help.
