We are getting ready for our first long trip in some time. We may on the road for up to 6 weeks, as we travel south to visit friends and family, do some birding along the gulf coast and attend our son Jeff’s graduation from Full Sail University.
Labor Day weekend will be spent visiting my folks in Kansas City and cycling with some old friends. The following week, we travel to Boerne, TX, outside of San Antonio to visit with my Dad’s younger brothers and their families.
The middle section of the trip will be spent exploring the gulf coast and retracing some of the bike route I took in 1994 along the Louisana and Florida panhandle. After Jeff’s graduation on October 3rd, we head for home. Depending on how many stops, we should arrive home sometime around October 10th.
We will be posting pictures and stories along the way, when ever we can find wireless hot spots. Stay tuned as Ben and the Gypsie take their new RV on the road.
