May means Warblers, as well as lots of other birds in migration. Today I was fortunate to get a “life bird”, i.e. first time I’ve seen this species for my non-bird friends.
This male Golden-winged Warbler stuck around for about 30 seconds for a great look and a couple of photos. I was exploring the Mississippi river bank in Lilydale when he was spotted at about 11:00am.
