I’ve been kicking around the idea of reviving our family blog. From 2006-2014, I posted a lot of pictures, random thoughts, cycling adventures, etc. Lately, in the time of Covid, we walk quite a bit especially around the lake behind our home.
I used to really enjoy photography, posting images of things we saw on our adventures. Mobile phones and Facebook have taken over this function in my life. The trouble is that Facebook posts don’t have a very long shelf life. Facebook tries to remind us of past moments but even that doesn’t make it easy to review past moments.
Yesterday, I took out my “real” camera on a lake walk. I enjoyed watching a Pileated Woodpecker drilling out a new next hole and 3 muskrats sitting on the ice having dinner.
Take care and stay safe,
Ben & Tina
