For the 3rd day in a row, we have observed a Barred Owl on the edge of a pond in Crepeau Park. He seems to spend the am sleeping and was not too bothered by me taking his picture.
With this success, we may try for a Great Horned Owl this afternoon that is nesting out south of town. Also just got a tip on a GHO nest on Old Hwy 8 in New Brighton.
