Jacamars

“Jacamars are long-billed birds that sally for flying insects (moths, butterflies) and then usually return to their initial perches, upon which they beat their prey before consuming it. “  Birds of Peru.

I was able to photograph two different species…. The White-eyed Jacamar and the colorful Bluish-fronted Jacamar.
