Cedar Waxwings

Mar 28, 2010 | Birding

In Mattapoisett, MA we birded the harbor one morning and saw several returning species announcing the arrival of spring.  Along with Buffleheads, Mergansers, Song Sparrows and a Northern Mockingbird, we came across a flock of Cedar Waxwings foraging for breakfast.  These guys are really one of the most spectacular colored birds and quite photogenic.
