All week folks have been reporting a Mountain Bluebird sighting at the Como Lake Golf course. Earlier in the month, same was spotted for several days at the University of Minnesota Golf course.
This morning, I decided to make an attempt to find this bird and get a few pics. This would also be a first on my Minnesota list.
Upon entering the park, there were hundreds of Canadian Geese overhead with some landing on a small nearby pond. I found the Bluebird and several Flickers on the pond edge and proceeded to follow the bird for the better part of 2 hours.
Here is an image gallery documenting my morning.
